L’Operaio, a Japanese car dealership that imports and sells high-end vehicles, is adding Bitcoin as a payment option with the technological support of the country’s largest exchange, bitFlyer.

Notably, although most existing retail associations have a limited settlement limit for each purchase, which ranges from $ 900 to $ 2,760, bitFlyer says the new partnership will allow customers to make purchases up to 100 million yen ($ 1 million) in bitcoin through your digital wallet.

Announced by bitFlyer on Tuesday, the initial phase of the partnership will see that bitcoin payments will be available in the stores of the distributors in Nerima, Setagaya and Aoyama in Tokyo, with plans to expand the option to all stores in the future.

As previously reported, bitFlyer has already integrated its cryptocurrency wallet with major electronics retailers in Japan, as well as all stores in Bic Camera and selected branches of Yamada Denki.

Last year, departmental store operator Marui also launched a bitcoin payment trial version along with bitFlyer at one of its locations in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
